New Virtual Learning Environment – what every tutor needs to know…
As you may have already heard, from September our Virtual Learning Environment will be undergoing some major changes and we want to make sure that everyone is fully prepared for these changes.
There are a number of ways in which you can find out more and we’re hoping that everyone will get a chance to attend a session or speak to one of the Learning and Teaching Technology team within the next few months – please don’t wait until September to familiarise yourself with the new system as you won’t be able to take full advantage of the new features if you’re rushing to update.
How to find out more:
- Attend one of our Getting Started with Blackboard 9.1 workshops taking place on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. To sign up, go to the Staff Development Workshop Booking page on the staff portal and sign up for a session.
- If you have a team, or a group of staff who would like a customised workshop, please contact Libby Symonds e.symonds@worc.ac.uk and we can arrange a tailor made session to suit your needs.
- For staff who have used the old system extensively, extra support may be needed to transition to the new system –members of the Learning and Teaching Technology Unit would be happy to come and discuss your needs on a one-to-one basis and provide the support you need to move across.
