Less than a month until the deadline for the Vacation Research Assistantship Scheme!
The University of Worcester is funding up to 20 Vacation Research Assistantships for the summer of 2016. These Research Assistantships provide undergraduates and recent graduates with ‘hands on’ experience of working on a research project over the summer vacation, enabling them to gain insight into a research career, as well as enhancing their CV. These are prestigious awards, marking out a student as a future researcher and potential academic. In addition, this scheme provides UW staff leading on a research project with invaluable support in taking the project forward and experience of supporting and developing a young researcher.
Each Assistantship will carry a stipend (subject to tax and NI) of up to £1500 which can only be used to fund the student’s salary costs.
The Assistantship can be for a maximum of 4 weeks (subject to FTE).
Please return your completed application forms to Emily Owen (email@example.com) by 3rd March 2016.
