Registration now open for the Annual Learning and Teaching Conference – 16 June 2016

Registration for the 2016 Annual Learning, Teaching and Student Experience Conference is now open at http://www.worc.ac.uk/edu/1267.htm

Please note that all speakers and panel chairs will need to register for the conference.

This year’s theme is ‘Showcasing and Exploring Excellence’, and the conference aims to both showcase teaching and learning approaches, practices and methods, which have provided students with an excellent learning experience and to explore, discuss and interrogate what is meant by excellence. It invites participants to discuss what teaching excellence is, how we can aspire to achieve and demonstrate it to the outside world?

Our keynote speaker this year is Professor Carenza Lewis of the University of Lincoln who will discuss ‘Achieving an excellent learning experience – connecting research with teaching and public engagement’. We also have a great panel discussion lined up for the afternoon to include Dr Nicholas Almond – Liverpool Hope University, Dr Helen Walkington – Oxford Brookes University and Dr Winston A. Morgan – University of East London.

If you have any queries relating to the conference then please contact Maggie Andrews (maggie.andrews@worc.ac.uk), Lisa Chivers (l.chivers@worc.ac.uk) or Carolyn Nisbet (c.nisbet@worc.ac.uk )
