Summer activities at Lakeside Campus

University Lakeside Campus to host holiday club for young people

The University of Worcester will provide five weeks of holiday clubs for children aged 8-14 at its new Lakeside Campus.

Starting on the 25th of July and running until the 26th of August, children will be invited to take part in a variety of activities to keep them busy throughout their summer holiday.

From 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, a team of friendly, qualified instructors will guide children through a packed day of fun.

An exciting selection of outdoor adventure and sport activities are on offer; including bush craft, archery, kayaking and a zip-wire. All making use of the University’s newly improved and refurbished Lakeside Campus.

Children will also have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop their team work and leadership qualities by participating in activities like raft building and a low ropes course.

The cost for 1-5 days is £30 per person, per day but discounted rates are offered for those attending for longer: £27.50 pp/pd for 6-10 days and £22.50 pp/pd for 11+ days.

The club will run no matter what the weather so a classic British rainy summer won’t stop the fun.
