Charlie Bassett, from finance, and 4 members of her family are completing a 25km trek in the peak district on 3rd September 2016 in order to raise funds for SANDS – the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.
In November 2015, Charlie’s father and partner were expecting their third child, when unfortunately they suffered a stillbirth, and baby Toby was born a sleeping angel.
The fundraising is a way for us to give back to SANDS after the support that they have given to my father over the past few months to help him through this difficult time.
Any funds raised will go towards research into the causes of stillbirths, and to support other families going through this situation.
If anyone can spare a few pounds it would be greatly appreciated – our target is to hit the £1,000 mark, and we have only got a couple of weeks to go!
