EDU is delighted to announce the launch of the 2016/17 Students as Academic Partners (SAP) projects scheme. Applications are now open until 31st October 2016.
The scheme offers students an opportunity for paid employment to enable them to work in equal partnership with academic staff to strengthen the student learning experience at the University. This year the focus of the scheme will be the course experience.
The purpose of the programme is to integrate students into the teaching and learning communities of the University, namely the academic institutes and student service departments, and as such the scheme will employ students as active members of project teams based within the University’s departments.
SAP aspires to actively support student learning via collaborations between students and staff and promote a sense of ownership and pride in the institution. We invite students and staff to submit bids which clearly demonstrate how their project will impact on the student learning experience at course level.
Further details and a project application form are attached. Information on the scheme can also be found at http://www.worc.ac.uk/edu/1220.htm
We look forward to receiving your application.
