Breast cancer research project

Research project: The impact of a group intervention to improve nutritional intake and promote behaviour change for women who have had treatment for breast cancer

We are currently recruiting women who have had breast cancer to participate in a research project which aims to find out about the impact of a programme to promote healthy eating and physical activity.

The programme is for  2 ¼ hours a week for 12 weeks and is held in the McClelland Centre, City Campus.

A daytime group starts from Wednesday 26th April 10.30-12.45

An evening group starts from Thursday 27th April 18.30-20.45

Each week will involve an hour of gentle physical activity, tea and chat, and an hour of discussion about healthy eating and trying new foods.

Please pass the details to anyone you know who may be interested in participating, or get in touch if you would like to know more.
