2017 Vacation Teaching Development Assistantship Scheme launch

The Vacation Teaching Development Assistantship (VTDA) scheme for 2016-17 is now launched. Applications to the scheme are now open, with full details being found in the attached documents and at http://www.worc.ac.uk/edu/1296.htm. The pilot scheme in 2015-16 saw 8 successful projects taking place; there are up to 12 funded projects available for 2017.

In order to get teams going with project proposals, LTTU are kindly hosting a support workshop on 27th February – please book places via the staff development pages.



Mon 13th February 2017 VTDA scheme launch
Monday 27th February 2017 Workshop
Fri 24th March 2017 Closing date for applications from project supervisors
w/c 27th March Panel to review applications
By Thurs 13th April 2017 Outcomes of applications to be advised to project supervisors
24th April 2017 onwards Assistantships to be advertised on UW webpages
Sun 7th May 2017 Assistantships posts to be closed
8th to 26th May 2017 Recruitment process to be dealt with including interviews with students
w/c 30th May 2017 Post to be confirmed to students (or other outcome)
July – August 2017 Projects run
September 2017 End of project reports to be completed
