There will be a performance of No Woman’s Land, created by Drama lecturer Ildikó Rippel (Zoo Indigo), at the Drama Studio, St. John’s Campus, on Monday 27 February, 8 pm.
- Lucia Rippel is expelled from her place of birth. She walks 220 miles across the fractured landscape of Europe, her two children and all her belongings dragged in a cart.
- Ildikó Rippel and Rosie Garton retrace her footsteps. Crossing borders, climbing fences, bleeding, crying, blistering, and carrying their flat-pack children.
No Woman’s Land is a politically charged nod to 1920s Kabarett, entwining the duo’s experience of their walk with Lucia’s story.
Contains strong language, nudity and themes that some might find upsetting.
