Sports and Enterprise event

2 March Sports and Enterprise event – University Arena 5:15-8:00

On Thursday 2 March, the Sports and Enterprise event was held at the University Arena. Over 30 students attended the event; there were a mixture of sport students, business students and students who were just interested in sports and the business community. A few sports and business lecturers also attended. The aim for this event was to show students the importance of sport and enterprise, especially in regards to its growth throughout Worcestershire.

The event included prominent business figures from Redpoint Climbing Centres, The Worcester Warriors, The University of Worcester Director of Basketball and Marketing Manager and Encourage Activity-a graduate business focusing on exercise and wellbeing.

Our business sponsors for the event included Barclays bank and the companies kindly taking part were widely promoted throughout the event.3

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These guest speakers spoke about their passion for sports related business. The key message from all of our speakers was the value of time and doing something that inspires you. Our speakers also were keen to explain how they have marketed their offering, who their target audiences are and how they have spotted opportunities that have helped grow their Enterprises.
