The Centre for Children and Families at the University of Worcester has published a book aimed at early years students. The book is written with students and for students. The book is in two parts, the first part aims to demystify some of the structure and processes related to being a student in HE. Areas explored include induction, working with others in uni and assessment and feedback. Part 2 is aimed at learning in the workplace, the issues addressed include suggestions of how to make your practical experience a success, as well as a chapter which explores your role in safeguarding children as a student practitioner.
We are having a celebratory book launch event at the University library on the evening of 30 March. If you are one of our graduates or a placement provider for the University of Worcester’s students, or a professional working with children and families and you would like to come along, please get in touch for more details email: firstname.lastname@example.org
