The Worcester Business School held yet another successful event last Wednesday evening, as they held a ‘Business Start-Up’ talk at The Hive.
The event had six speakers, from all aspects of the Worcestershire area, who informed attendees how to start up their business ventures and where they can receive support.
Dr David Bozward, who is a senior lecture in Entrepreneurship at the University of Worcester, talked about the Business Model Canvas and how crucial it is to create one that provides a roadmap for your business. While Dr Adrian Burden, who works as a tech and social entrepreneur, spoke about reaching the endgame and achieving goals in your company.
There were also talks from the University of Worcester’s Enterprise Manager Nick Bancroft, Worcestershire Business Central’s Ellie Brown and Hereford and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Gail Dendy De Santos.
Jo Murphy, the University of Worcester, Business Bootcamp lead also took time to explain and promote a FREE project for people in Worcestershire that runs between 19 and 24 June. Jo explained that the intensive full week programme has been developed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and ongoing support needed to start their own business.
Once again, the Worcester Business School have produced another insightful event for students and even for the wider community.
