Live @ The Hangar returns to Worcester Students’ Union

After the success of the inaugural Live @ The Hangar comedy night in November, we’re pleased to announce its return this February! University of Worcester staff are invited to join us in what promises to be another hilarious and fun-filled night.

Location: The Hangar
Date: Thursday 1st February
Start Time: 8pm (doors) 9pm (opening act)
Entry: £8 (tickets available from SU Welcome Desk or on the door)

The line-up for the evening is:

James Redmond
A dry, slick and subtle stand up who delivers unexpected twists and turns during his set. James has performed at over 1,000 events and has a track record as a model and actor and is best known for seminal roles in Emmerdale (ITV) ‘Hollyoaks’ (C4) and ‘Casualty’ (BBC 1) as well as having appeared as a guest on ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ (BBC 2).

Micky P Kerr
Leeds-based comedian and social commentator, Micky P Kerr is a breath of fresh air on the live comedy circuit. Fusing together music, spoken word and comedy, Kerr has been described as the bastard spawn of John Cooper Clarke. Already a familiar face on the live music circuit, Micky turned his hand to stand-up comedy in 2013 and is rapidly becoming one to watch, proving to be a massive hit with audiences and bookers alike.

Carey Marx
Carey Marx has been a circuit favourite for years, mixing his own blend of dark humour with his mischievous and gleeful delivery. His wilful disregard for the controversial and delicate is tempered beautifully by his ability to find joy in the most unexpected places. This hilarious mix of edgy topics and playful gagsmithery can be seen at all the top clubs across the country, with Marx regularly playing The comedy Club, Komedia and The Comedy Store and annually compering the largest festivals.
