Presentation Skills (Training)

Date: Tuesday 2 October 2018

Overview; this workshop will give delegates the confidence and skills to deliver successful presentations; it will include planning and preparation, the structure, the impact of non-verbal communication, confidence and controlling nerves, managing the audience, handling questions and the use of materials and different visual aids.

Participants; all colleagues, academic and professional services staff who need to know how to formally present information either internally or externally.

Learning outcomes; to be able to deliver a successful presentation to any group; to know effective ways to plan and prepare; to be able to engage the audience and seek feedback.

Prior experience required; none required.

Preparation before the session; none required.

Future opportunities; Skills Gym Working with Others, Appraiser or Appraisee training, Train the Trainer.
