Leaders in the field of business and skills share all you need to know about professional leadership, recruitment, talent retention and more to help ensure businesses are fit for purpose.
On Tuesday 26 March from 07:30 to 09:30, ICAEW is holding The Business Of Skills breakfast event at The Hive, Worcester. The event aims to encourage a lively debate about skills in business, including whether skills key to leadership and collaboration are a natural gift, can be taught or acquired through experience.
The event is open to individuals and organisations of all sizes, from all sectors that are faced with addressing skills issues. More broadly, the event will look at:
– How a good gap analysis can identify the missing skills in your business
– How to advertise your business effectively to potential employees in a competitive market
– How you can encourage senior staff to pass on knowledge and experience
– How you can get ‘buy-in’ from senior management to bridge the skills gap
Confirmed speakers include:
Anne Marie McTavish, Head of Worcester University’s Business School, Gary Woodman, Worcestershire LEP Chief Executive and Andrew Sandiford, Managing Director at Bishop Fleming.
