Vinyasa flow yoga classes are on every Tuesday in Gym 1 at the St John’s Campus, 5:15-6:45pm with Lovetree Yoga. Vinyasa flow yoga is a more dynamic style yoga, which means doing a lot more than just sitting on the mat saying ‘om’! Come along to this class and work towards getting fitter and stronger, both physically and mentally, in a powerful, hot and fun class! The classes are suitable for all levels of experience as instructions are given throughout.
Prices are £8 to drop in or £3 for students and your first class is half price! If you would like to attend regularly, staff/community members can purchase a 5 class pass for only £35. The classes are open to all so please pass on this info if you have a friend or colleague who would be interested. The group is very friendly and we like having fun and giving everything a go – no matter how much we wobble on our mats!
Mats are provided or you can bring your own. As we get quite hot during the class, you may wish to bring a bottle of water and a small towel with you.
To keep the good vibes going outside of class, join Katy for a picnic lunch on Friday 21 June (International Yoga Day!) from 12:30-1:30pm in the picnic area at the back of Woodbury. Bring your lunch and a picnic blanket (or a yoga mat to sit on!) and prepare to geek out on yoga chat! Everyone who has ever come to a Lovetree Yoga class is welcome, plus those who haven’t and may be a bit nervous about starting yoga and want to ask some questions about what it’s all about, from people who practice regularly. Wet weather contingency will be in The Hangar. See you there!
