Monday November 18th
11:00 – 13:00
Pop along, take a break, eat some cake.
You are warmly invited to the inaugural University of Worcester all-staff fika on the morning of Monday November 18th in HBG006. There are two fun activities – with prizes – for you to try, or you can simply enjoy the coffee and cake and learn how to fika like a pro.
Fika is such a great word, and you can EITHER use it as a noun (FANCY A FIKA?) OR a verb (LET’S GO AND FIKA)!
This event is hosted by the University’s Staff Mental Health network (SMHN), and marks the launch of the SMHN’s informal peer support programme for staff, which will take the form of a series of regular fika meet-ups.
To find out more about fika, mindfulness, or the work of the SMHN, just come along to HBG006 any time between 11:00 and 13:00 on November 18th and say hi.
The Staff Mental Health Network is run by staff, for staff. It has a dual function: to offer informal peer support between colleagues, and to work to further the cause of staff wellbeing and mental health across the organisation. To find out more about the work of the SMHN, or to join, you can email email@example.comK and a Network member will get back to you.
