29th January 2020, 14:00 – 16:00
EE G020
A small team within the School of Sport have been working as part of an Erasmus + funded project on developing MOOC looking at gender equality in sport. The project is led by School of Sport and Exercise Science and the University of Worcester and has six other partners from either University or national sport organisations from Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Croatia, Slovenia and the Netherlands.
A research informed teaching approach has been central to the design of this online resource in order to engage Generation Z through a range of innovative learning and teaching strategies to develop their understanding of gender equality primarily through sport, leadership and management.
This Share and Inspire session will explore the MOOC content and activities which can be delivered to students at the University of Worcester in modules that may explore gender equity, demonstrate how the MOOC can be used by both students and staff and research that is being conducted as part of the project.
You can sign up for this session on the staff development page
Tea, coffee and cake will be available
