Free tickets are available now for our Quick pitch 2020 26 February event at the HIVE.
University of Worcester students, start-ups and businesses trading up to 12 months will have up to 5 minutes to pitch their business idea to a small judging panel of local business experts, in front of a supportive entrepreneurial community.
The event is designed to encourage those who are new to pitching to hone their personal selling skills, whilst providing a platform to promote and gain exposure for their business concepts.
It is free to enter and the winner’s prize of £250.00 has kindly been provided by the event’s main corporate sponsor, Wynne-Jones IP. Every shortlisted entrepreneur will receive a free year’s membership to the national business support platform Enterprise Nation.

We will be accepting applications between now and February 9 2020 for University of Worcester students,
To register your interest, please send the following details to enterprise@worc.ac.uk in the first instance:
• Trading status – A pre-start individual with a business idea or any business less than 12 months old
• Overview of your business idea
• The rationale behind your idea
• What benefits does your product or service bring to your customers
You might also be thinking about freelance work, considering a career change and need some advice and signposting, or would simply like to see what the next great business idea is. Either way, we encourage any student interested to attend.
The event will offer invaluable access to entrepreneurs and business leaders and business support agencies who will be happy to help you to figure out your next steps.
