The retention of students is a key objective for all universities, and the University of Worcester is no different.
Blackboard contains built-in tools to help you monitor your students’ activity within the VLE, potentially identifying students who are in danger of dropping out long before they reach the point of no return.
In our workshop ‘Tracking Student Engagement in Blackboard’ we will look at setting up rules for reporting lack of engagement and/or achievement and discuss strategies for re-engaging students and promoting active learning.
